Ferrari’s new GTC4Lusso seamlessly melds dramatic sophistication, luxurious comfort and formidable power. Billed as the Ferrari that can take you anywhere—from snowy mountain roads in Park City, Utah, to a gala ball or Hollywood premiere—the new GTC4Lusso made its public debut at the Geneva International Motor Show in March and is already taking the driving world by storm. With a top speed of 208 mph and off-the-line acceleration of zero to 62 mph in 3.4 seconds, the four-passenger hatchback is certainly a head-turner. But the major advance that auto pundits are buzzing about is the four-wheel drive system that’s integrated with rearwheel steering for the first time in a sporting grand tourer. The end result is tremendous stability and a feeling of masterful control over the torque generated by the vehicle’s monstrous V-12 engine even on snow-covered, wet or low-grip roads. “Historically, Ferrari has always offered a more versatile 2+2 model in the range,” says Ferrari spokeswoman Krista Florin. The GTC4Lusso’s four-seater design allows for the driver and passengers to experience optimum luxury and comfort while relishing in the sporty elegance of the vehicle. “It’s the most comfortable, [and] has [the] biggest interior cabin and luggage space of any Ferrari before it,” Florin notes. From a design standpoint, the GTC4Lusso’s fastback-like silhouette is the latest iteration of Ferrari’s shooting-brake coupe, an extremely sleek tapered shape that is the epitome of sophisticated performance. Starting with the already impressive model, a variety of features may be selected to truly customize the vehicle. “As with any Ferrari, a client specifies the car from start to finish with a list of options to choose from including a range [of] interior and exterior finishes,” Florin says. “The panoramic roof will certainly be a popular option, as well as the custom-made luggage set.” Clients can go even further in their personalization with Ferrari’s Tailor-Made program.
